Meet Yi Ling – The Heart Behind AllThingsCrunchy 

Hi! I’m Yi Ling, a mother from Malaysia who identifies as an environmental advocate, and passionate researcher on non-toxic living. My journey toward creating a healthier world started young—thanks to Captain Planet, I began recycling at just nine years old. Since then, my commitment to eco-conscious choices has only deepened, especially when I became a mother. 

As I prepared for my child’s arrival, I delved into extensive research on non-toxic products and environmental safety. With my background in legal research (thanks to my LLB (Hons)), I rigorously investigated the hidden dangers of heavy metals and toxic chemicals in everyday products. I was determined to protect my child from exposure, knowing the profound effects these toxins could have on growth and development. This dedication earned me the title of that crazy crunchy mom—and I wear it proudly!

Why I Started AllThingsCrunchy

As my child grew and started eating solids and was old enough for school, my concerns about toxic exposure increased. Lead, in particular, became my biggest worry.
